Matterport MatterPak Add-on
The MatterPak™ File Package consists of a set of downloadable and exportable assets created from Matterport 3D data for use by architects, construction, developers, and design professionals. Assets can be imported into numerous programs to kickstart your design, development, or management process.
The MatterPak™ Package is a package containing a set of assets that you can download and import into third-party programs. The files included in the package are:
- Colored point cloud (.XYZ)
- Reflective ceiling plan
- (.JPG) Multiple files for multiple floors
- (.PDF) Single file with all floors
- High-resolution floor plan (NOT a schematic floor plan.) It is a floor plan similar to the ceiling plan.
- (.JPG) Multiple files for multiple floors
- (.PDF) Single file with all floors
- 3D mesh file (.OBJ) including the required texture map (.JPG)
The MatterPak™ File Package is an exportable and downloadable file package created from Matterport 3D models that designers, architects, engineers, and construction professionals can use to quickly start design projects or import into third-party programs such as 3ds max, ReCap, Revit, or AutoCAD.
These assets can be downloaded instantly after the model is processed, stored on your local device or in the cloud, and accessed at any time from my.matterport.com. Architects and engineers use the point cloud to quickly create models and start designing quickly. Construction professionals use the ceiling plan and floor plan for documentation/verification and drawing content, and point clouds for quality assurance and quality control.
