RaceKeys: The New Address for Typing Speed, Clicking, and Reflex Races

RaceKeys: The New Address for Typing Speed, Clicking, and Reflex Races

How Much Do You Trust Your Keyboard?

How many words do you type per minute? How many times can you click per second? How many milliseconds does it take you to react to a target appearing on the screen? For everyone curious about the answers to these questions, there's a brand new address: RaceKeys — a completely free and browser-based game platform that turns typing, clicking, and reflex speed into a race. Its slogan is as clear as its claim: "Race your keys. Beat the world."

We designed RaceKeys, the newest member of the MediaRubic ecosystem, as a global racing platform that can be played with a single click, without a registration wall, and supports Turkish, English, and Spanish. Here's what awaits you inside.

4 Game Modes: Every Reflex Has Its Own Track

  • Typing Race: The classic but addictive genre: type the text before your opponents, without errors. You are scored by your words per minute (WPM) and accuracy; with momentum physics, every correct letter moves you forward on the track. You can warm up against bots, or compete against real opponents.
  • Click Race: How high is your clicks per second (CPS)? See the limits of your finger endurance.
  • Target Rush: Hit the targets appearing on the screen; accuracy is as important as speed for points. The real test of your hand-eye coordination.
  • Reaction Test: See the signal, press. Milliseconds speak — a pure reflex duel where pressing too early results in a penalty.

On the Same Track with Your Friends: Create a Room, Share the Code

The heart of RaceKeys beats in its multiplayer mode. Create a room, send the generated code to your friends; you'll be in the same race within seconds. All four modes can be played in multiplayer: from typing races to clicking duels. With chat, a ready-up system, and a live score strip, the room experience feels like a tournament. If you can't find an opponent in quickplay mode, bots will step in — the track is never empty.

This structure makes it not just an individual training tool, but also a fun break activity for teams: short, fast-paced, and no setup required, making it perfect for in-office mini-tournaments. Weekly Leagues: Everyone Races at Their Own Level

The biggest problem with global leaderboards is clear: players who know they can't make it into the top 100 give up on competing. RaceKeys solves this with a weekly league system: players are divided into groups of 30, and promotion and relegation occur every week across 10 tiers, from Rookie to Legend. The XP you earn is calculated by your speed, accuracy, and consistency. So your opponent isn't a world record holder, but 29 people at your own level — that's the math of motivation.

This is accompanied by achievement badges, titles, and 8 different racer characters such as car, rocket, horse, and spaceship. Your collection grows as you progress.

Fair Race: Behavioral Cheat Protection

The chronic problem of speed races is cheaters: auto-clickers, copy-paste "typists"... In RaceKeys, every score is re-calculated on the server-side with behavioral evidence; superhuman streaks cannot enter the leaderboards. Behind every name you see on the leaderboard are real fingers.

Why in the Browser, Why Free?

Because there should be no obstacles to speed racing. In RaceKeys:

  • No registration required — you race instantly as a guest; if you want to open an account, your progress and records come with you.
  • No download — phone, tablet, computer; it works on any device with an up-to-date browser.
  • No cost — all modes, leagues, and features are unlimited and free.
  • Three languages — Turkish, English, and Spanish; typing race texts also come in your language.

On the Turkish side, this is particularly important: a live, multiplayer, and mobile-compatible typing race platform has long been missing for Turkish players. RaceKeys fits perfectly into this gap.

Place in the MediaRubic Ecosystem

RaceKeys is the flagship consumer-side product of MediaRubic's game and simulation family. While developing team games like Before Mars and Club President on the corporate side, with RaceKeys, we are building a competitive skill platform on a global scale. Their common denominator is the same: a well-designed, barrier-free gaming experience in the browser. If you have a custom game or platform idea for your institution, as the MediaRubic Technology team, we would be happy to hear it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is RaceKeys really free?

Yes — all game modes, multiplayer rooms, and the league system are completely free. Registration is not even mandatory.

Can I use it as a typing speed test?

Absolutely. The Typing Race mode measures WPM (words per minute) and accuracy; it's perfect for improving your touch typing speed by playing regularly.

Can it be played on the phone?

Yes, the interface is optimized for mobile; all modes, including the typing race, can be played on the phone.

How do I race with my friends?

From the homepage, say "Create Room", then share the generated code. Everyone who enters the code gathers in the same lobby; you choose the mode and start the race.

How are scores protected, is cheating possible?

Every score is verified on the server with behavioral evidence; auto-clicker and bot behaviors are detected and kept off the leaderboards.

Which languages does it support?

Currently Turkish, English, and Spanish. Adding new languages is on the roadmap.
